Adding a Background Image

Hi,
I'm trying to add a Background image to a layout but it fails.
I uploaded the image to the library and its there. I can select the Image in the dropdown , but the icon always shows Image not Found.
I click Save - but the dialog doesnt close and then have to click cancel.
When I then select the Background again it defaults with NONE as the background image.

Is it something I'm doing wrong?

Is anything recorded in Management -> Log? You may need to edit the filter settings to see the appropriate entry.

I'm using that route alot and I'm not aware of any problems with it.

Sorry No - There is nothing in the log files.

Nothing at all? That's very strange. XMDS uses a deprecated method so your client running should be making at least some log entries.

We think that you may not have the GD extension enabled in PHP.

The installer doesn't check for it, but it is required. We've added that dependency for 1.0.0-rc3.

Please can you confirm if the GD extension is loaded.

Your were correct , GD support was not enabled.
I have installed the extension and now the Background Image is displayed OK.
