Keyboard Operations for Client

Are there any Keyboard shortcuts for the Client?

A) I would like to close the client

B) I would like to be able to REFRESH the client data once I have changed a Layout instead of waiting X seconds..

Hi Steve,

You can use ALT + F4 to close the client (provided it has the focus - if it the client doesn't close trying clicking the mouse to get focus and then repeating).

Currently there is no "Manual Refresh" feature on the client. However as a work around you could use ALT + F4 and then start the client again. On start up the client always pulls the latest changes from the server.

I have filed a blueprint for the refresh keyboard short cut as I think it would be a useful feature for when you are deploying a client or making adjustments when at the client PC. You can find the blueprint here: https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/xibo/+spec/client-keyboard-shortcuts

ALT+F4 is fine (should have realised this Doh!)

Refresh on most Apps is F5 - but whatever...
