permissions error xibo web server

Asked by Andre Ilges

Hi,

I'm trying to install xibo server 1.6.4 in my shared web host.

I installed the server with no problems. But when I try to log in, it shown this message.

You don't have permission to access /xibo/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If I set full permission to the files, then shown up this error message:

=========

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at <email address hidden> to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I tried to install in my localhost, it's worked fine. Any idea what is happening here?

You'd need to speak to your hosting provider to see if that can get any log
output.

Most likely Xibo needs a PHP module which isn't available on your shared
hosting platform, or the version of PHP they are running is too old or
locked down for it to work.

I did talk to my hosting provider, and it looks it's all Ok.

My PHP version is 2.4, and this are my activated modules. Are something missing?
