Linux Clients

Asked by Xarc

I will be developing Linux clients that are specific for each distro, the three distros I will focus on will be: Ubuntu, Centos and Arch. These clients will utilize the local package manager, deb for Ubuntu, RPM for Centos, etc. They will also setup a repo which can be hosted on some free hosting (that can be figured out later).

The point of this is to create a comprehensive client that allows total remote control from a web interface, allows to be set a display or an interactive display.

We wish you the best of luck creating these player applications (these Linux ones and the windows ones) - they really do sound great.

As mentioned on one of your other questions - at this point I think you should be creating a new project for your ideas as what you are doing is sufficiently different to warrant one.

If you do reuse any code, please keep the AGPLv3 licence in mind.

Thanks,
Dan
