Media in library - show created/uploaded date time

Is it possible to see when a media was uploaded?
Sometimes I have similar media files but needs to know when it was uploaded.
A thumbnail for the video files would also be great?

We dont current collect a date for uploaded media - but we certainly could. Please submit a blueprint for it and we will consider if for 1.8 development.
