Text Transparency - VERSION 1.7.0 BETA

Hello,

VERSION 1.7.0 BETA

I want to put the Text layout background transparent, but this doesnt work.

In version 1.6.4 this works perfect.

I Know that the background colour of the text editor matches the background colour of
your layout, but i cant make it tranparent.

Can You help..

Sorry, but I am not sure what you mean.

Text backgrounds are always transparent unless you use the new option in 1.7 to specify a colour (which is optional).

Can you give some more detail?

Yes the text backgrounds should be always be transparent by default, but this doesnt happens. I always have a black background in the text area.

On the client?

In the CMS the background will be coloured to the layout background as a design helper only - so that you can see the text.

Yes IN the Windows client dont work, and IN Layout preview doesnt work to.

Are you sure you haven't selected a background colour for your text item?

Can you post screenshots of the results and each tab on the text form - or provide access to your CMS?

Thanks Dan, you solved it

You have used a PNG background image, which is not supported in the Windows Client. Background images must be JPG.
