enable php_fileinfo Windows 2008 R2 PHP 5.3.29

Asked by Jamie

Hi,

I'm trying to install Xibo on a Windows Server 2008R2. I have got as far as the installation checks and they have all passed apart from php_fileinfo.

After a bit of digging around on the internet, i have come to the conclusion that something is wrong!

i have fileinfo.dll extension enabled
i was unable to find the "extension=php_fileinfo.dll" line to uncomment so i added it myself.

Still no joy.

I have reset iis numerous times aswell.

Please can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
-Jamie

Maybe these instructions will help?
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5108758/using-php-fileinfo-dll-and-finfo-open-in-windows-php-5-3-5

If you don't have the fileinfo.dll file in your extensions folder it might be that your version of PHP is too low - 5.3.3 is required.

Can you help with this problem?
