When adding text to a region, the background is black so we cant see what has been typed, we have to highlight it to review.
I have tried changing the background colour but it doesn't make a difference. I imagine this is a change I can make in the html but cant find the correct file to edit.

Can you point me in the right direction please?

Using the latest version of XIBO CMS 1.6.4

The text background matches the layout background colour. Change the layout
background colour to match your layout background image as closely as
possible and you won't have an issue

Hi Alex,

Where do I change the layout background colour? When I try to add text the background colour button doesn't change the colour?

The link below will take you to my post on Edugeek and you will be able to see the screen shots of my problem.

http://www.edugeek.net/forums/av-multimedia-related/144963-xibo-issue.html

The text is displayed fine when its pushed out to the xibo client, its just the text editor that has the issue.

Thanks,

Mike.

The layout background colour is changed on the "Options" -> "Background" form.

Unfortunately, the screenshots on edugeek are for logged in users only... but I have just run a quick test:
1. New layout
2. Change background colour to green
3. Open region timeline
4. Add text
5. The editor opens with a green background

Perhaps we have misunderstood your issue - can you put the screenshots somewhere else?

Hi Dan,

Thanks, that resolved it. The layout background was set to #000000, changed it to #ffffff and the text is now viewable in the editor.

Thanks to you both for your help!

Mike.
