Xibo Android client and TV client

Asked by Xeonet

Hello,

We are trying to configure a project of 100 displays that will be loading content from Xibo client.

Some of the displays(about 60) will be Android tablets and my question will be what will be the minimal requirements in order Xibo to run smoothly.

On the rest of the displays (about 40) we will need to load on TV displays and my question would be what kind of hardware should we use as Xibo client? Should an Android Mini PC be compatible and be enough to run videos 24/7?

Thank you in advance

Regarding hardware for the windows client - many people seem to be trying the Intel NUC style of PC, with good results.

Thanks Dan for your fast answer.

Is there a way we can use the Android tablet to display Content A on Tablet Screen and Content B on TV screen? (in the case that the tablet is linked to the TV through a HDMI wire)

I want to optimize the communication by using one single android device.

Thanks

Sorry, but that isn't possible at the moment - if you direct Android questions to Spring Signage they can give you more information as to why and if it will be possible in the future.

Can you help with this problem?
