Dan Garner suggests this article as a possible answer to your question:
FAQ #510: “How do I upload files bigger than 2MB / How can I increase the upload file size limit?”.

Hi, Dan.

It is not my problem. My problem is: When i upload a WMV file, cms said "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data"
I can upload MP4 files without problems but not WMV.

It isn´t a files bigger than 2MB problem.(i changed this option in config panel)

Thank you.

My point is that there is zero difference between a MP4 file and a WMV file as far as the upload tool is concerned... so it cannot be anything to do with the type of file... therefore it must be something else - size is usually a good candidate.

Are you able to check the CMS logs for error messages immediately after you receive that error?

Hi Dan.

I sent you a screen capture with this error.

the file weight is 33MB only

i have this in my php.ini:
       ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
       ; http://php.net/upload-max-filesize
       upload_max_filesize=120M

Thank you.

Upload depends on way more than just that setting. Please see the FAQ which
details all the settings that need to change
