Failed to Update Xibo CMS 1.6.3 to 1.7.0

I tried to Update my CMS to the newest Version but got the following error: http://i.imgur.com/pbjQI3b.png
I restored from backup and the 1.6.3 version runs fine.

From what i could find out, it isn't a Xibo specific error. However, I couldn't find anything of use.
Is there a known way to solve this problem?

Hi,

There is something very odd about that - I have gone through the 1.6 code with a fine toothed comb and that render_as database field it is complaining about does not exist in 1.6...

If it doesn't exist in 1.6.3 then I am not sure how you have it in your database...

Have you tried to upgrade before and had it fail?

1.4 was the one I first installed. I then upgraded to version 1.6.2 and from that to 1.6.3.

I tried to Upgrade to 1.7.0 a while ago but I don't remember what the error message was back then.

I took a look into my database and I did find the collum render_as in the table modules.

This is almost certainly the issue - you have a partial upgrade. Please can you revert to the backups from that upgrade and try again?

@nsstratton - I just commented on your other question. Perhaps you have a similar partial upgrade issue?
