WOL - Wake On Lan - Packet sent to wrong address

Asked by Stefaan Haesen

Hello,

2 issues with WOL, probably related.

1 - When editing Display Settings, the content of the Broadcast address is not populated with the information from the Display and when reopening after saving, the entered IP address is gone. (Same goes for the time)

2 - The packet is sent to IP address 255.255.255.255 in stead of 192.1.60.148, although this address is indicated in the 'About to send' message.

Appreciate your help.

Do you have anything in CIDR? If so then the IP address is rightly replaced with the broadcast address.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for looking in to this.

Issue 1. Any idea why the fields stay empty ?

Issue 2. The field Wake on LAN CIDR is empty.

Kind regards,
Stefaan

I've created a bug for the non-defaulting fields and for the incorrect address being used.

I suspect the CIDR is being set to 0 even though it isn't on the form.

Thanks Dan,

Will I receive a message when the bug is treated ?
