Xibo transitions go bad

It takes about ten seconds before the Xibo Client change the DataSet in the Region.
The background of the Client is a wallpaper and when the Client is trying to load the new DataSet, we see a white background for about 1 second.
It is a ubuntu client and we have the same problem on the Windows Client.
Is there a setting that we need to change to make the transitions of the Client better?

1.7.0-alpha has better support for this (not showing the background while changing regions) - we are still working on it for the Ubuntu Client.

Can you help with this problem?
