Temporarily disable xibo client

Asked by tobyn

I am considering using Xibo around my church. I have a projector controlled by a pc. Before services, I would like to use Xibo to control what is being displayed. Then, during the service, another program needs to control the display. Is there a way to temporarily disable xibo client during the service then Re-enable afterwards? Also, this pc is off most of the time. Does xibo client automatically sync information when it is first launched on boot? Is there a way to force it to update outside the predefined update schedule?

Thanks,
Tobyn

To stop it you could just ALT-F4 the application and then restart it when you were ready. On restart it always requests the latest information from the server.
