Xibo CMS some times compress image files when i upload them to the CMS, why ?

Hi.. iam running xibo Version 1.6.0-rc1... When i upload JPEG files to the server to make a Layouts. the image are compressed some how, if the image size on my PC is 1,2Mb it become 600k, why ? how can i keep the original size of the image ?

Images are not compressed as they are uploaded - meaning they are stored in the server library as the original file. If they are then viewed in the CMS they may be resized, but they are always transmitted to the client in the original size.

Wow - that is strange... you might expect the reported sizes to be slightly different... but not a third of the size. Does this happen to all files, or just that specific one?

Look like its happing on firefox om my iMAC..
I have now switched to 1.6.2 and using chorme instead and the issue is not there any more...
