problem playing wmv and mp4 videos and client wont open

Hello
I have a problem playing a mp4 video and wmv. the problem goes like this i play a swf file chang the layout to the mp4 video and the xibo client goes back to the banner and nothing plays i close the client and when i try to re open i twont open not even the client options i have to try several times to open either client or client options for it to run again and then the mp4 video plays

The client will need some time to download the video you are asking it to play (unless it is already in the schedule). You should make your default layout something that you are OK to show on the screen, so that the client goes back to the default as it downloads the new content.

Alternatively make the changes well in advance using the scheduler and the required files will download in the background and be ready and available for the change over.
