Why is group-in-group not possinle!?

current: its only possible to give a screen a name or to add the screen to one or more groups.

suggestion: Make a group to group system possible like Windows folders.
For example:

Testclient (its the Name of a Client) (is Member of all these Groups)

First Group
Second Group
Thirt Group
....

(All this Groups can be also a Member of a Group) and this Group with all this Groups can also be member of a Group and so on!

It should be also possible to shedule a content to a group with (for example) 100 Screens take some screens out ONLY for this shedule!!!

Groups in groups has been requested before and is something we have on our blueprints.

Im not sure what you mean by schedule for a group but exclude some displays (you would just have a new group without those displays?)

Would like to know when you will integrate it. 1.7 ? 1.6.3?

For example. This CMS is absolutely perfect to use it with less screens and also less groups!
But with many screens and many groups its heavey to handle.

If I have 1000 screens connected and for example 50 Groups.

I would like to send content to a group with 400 screens but 5 screens shouldn´t get the sheduled content.
There is no solution to exclude screens in the shedule-window.
I can select the groups and/or displays which should get the content but there is no way to select also displays from a selected group.

You now know what I mean?

There is also no possibility to clone a group, rename the copy and exclude or include in the new copied group displays.
I can not find this funktion in CMS.

Please create 2 separate blueprints for both of the items you want, we can then consider it for development. Neither of the things you want are on the list for 1.7 or 1.8, so they are long term ideas at the moment.

If you need them quicker, you could consider sponsoring their development (see the Xibo directory for companies that might be able to help).
