Connection limit timeout

Asked by Mike

Godaddy has some type of new "security mod" that limits connections. It causes a brief outage but during that time can't make any changes. Xibo is triggering this now EVERYTIME I make any adjustments to a layout/region. Godaddy is whitelisting my IP and I know it's a hosting issue.

Question is the connection that Xibo makes to server a little excessive that would cause Godaddy to block my IP?

Thank you.

Which version of Xibo are you using?

Older versions did fire off a number of concurrent requests in the
background - although if that is triggering a white list, then that does
seem a little harsh. Do you know what their criteria are?

Hey Dan,
upgraded to v 1.6 a few weeks ago. Not sure what their limits are (300ish?) but it has got to be pretty low. Something they must have changed very recently.
Godaddy has whitelisted my IP to resolve temporarily until I migrate to their new cPanel which is probably why they do it btw. Xibo is unusable until then.

Thank you, Dan

300 concurrent requests sounds very high indeed, unless you have thousands of displays? If they can pin down the thing that triggers their alert then I'd be happy to look
