OK! Very Thankyou!

I read it and will follow the instruction!

But there is nothing explained about updating the client-software? Or will it perform an auto-update? Is there a way to auto-update my 10 clients?

It would be a great feature in one of the next releases if there would be a Service-Menu to save with one click Database and Settings.php to a local folder. Is this on your roadmap or why not? :-)

Copying a file is a really basic task. If you're competent to update Xibo
you should be competent to copy a file.

With regard to the clients, they're all different. The Windows client you
just upgrade by installing the new version. The Linux client has an upgrade
option in the installer

OK!

But wouln´t it be a great feature to upload the windows-client exe to a folder and the host will download and install it automaticaly?
I think this would be a perfect feature for next relase for every user!?

I use it actualy with 10 clients and hope in future I will use it with 50 clients.

It would be very easy if all clients will be autoupdated!!

Or is there no way to implement it?

Yes that's coming. I was referring to your suggestion to have a button to
copy the settings file. That definitely won't be happening

very nice! :-)

But it would be very cool feature to implement a Service-Page to make a full Database-Backup and also a full Backup of the whole xibo-folder to a local folder.

So it would be easy to make a weekly or monthly backup.

No good Idea???

Look to my other post why! :-(((

An update function inside the CMS should be possible? I am using WordPress and Joomla and both of them has this function. It should be possible to get some inspiration from how they have done it?

Please feel free to submit a blueprint for the feature and it will be considered for development and placed on the roadmap. Thanks!
