Can't edit Image properties

Asked by Barry Wood

I've had a layout which uses several images which were stored on the C:\ drive. For space reasons I've had to move these files to the D:\ drive.

However, when I try to edit the layout and go to image properties, the field that shows where the image is located cannot be edited, so I can't change it to look at the D:\ drive.

I'm not aware that there's an image properties dialogue or place where the image is stored in Xibo.

Is this where you've included images inside an embedded HTML media type?

Yes .. I have a Text media set up with lots of text and pictures embedded in the text. These showed OK when the images were stored on the c:\ drive but now they are moved to the d:\ drive I can't change the reference.

I can click on the image to go to image properties which has a field for the URL. Currently it shows as: file: //C:/Old10th.jpg (as the jpg was on the c:\ drive).

If I put the jpg back on the c:\ drive it shows OK.

Switch to source view and edit the paths there.

You're using it in a way we don't really intend so that will be clunky.

Images should go in the CMS as Image media types.
