Server 1.6.1 with pyclient 1.6.0?

Hi,

I'm working with 1.6.0 server & pyclient.
I'd like to upgrade server to 1.6.1 because of some bugs that were fixed in this version, but no pyclient release of version 1.6.1.
Can I upgrade server and keep clients to version 1.6.0 ?

rc2 is the latest 1.6.0 release and it will run with 1.6.1
