Powerpoint download does not work. Shows blank page.

Hi,
When I try to download a PPt or pptx file from Library it redirects to a blank page URL:
IE 11 shows HTTP 500 internal server error.
SYS Specs:
win7
xibo Server 1.6.0 + Player 1.6.0
Firefox 29
Chrome v35
All other media types are downloaded correctly. the problem is only with Powerpoint files. Is that a bug ?
