RSS Scroll Speed too fast

Just upgraded from 1.4.2 to 1.6.0. Running on a windows 2008 server and a windows 7 client. I would like to slow down the rss ticker below 1! i have a region setup for a third of the height of the screen, at the current rate they only show for about 5 seconds while scrolling up, in 1.4.2 our rss feed would show each title for about 30 seconds while scrolling up.

any help in slowing down the RSS ticker would be great.

Same problem for me.
Client running on android, the rss scroll speed of 1 is still too fast !
