Open, Save, Cancel when trying to open a PowerPoint.

Hi Guys,

One of our Clients located in the Schools Theatre is bringing up a 'File Download' window and bring it back up every time it checks for updates to the PowerPoint. I have ran the registery edits and the pc has full windows updates! If anyone has any ideas please let me know? Specs of the pc are below:

Windows 7 Enterprise x64
Microsoft Office Profesional Plus 2013
Internet Explorer 11
Staff Wireless Access connected via WiFi (Will be changed over during halfterm)
.NET 3.5 Installed

The patches are specific to the version of office you have. So presumably
you modified the patch for Office 2013?

In any case, our recommendation these days is to save your PowerPoint as a
WMV video (from the Save As menu in PowerPoint) and upload the resulting
video. It's far more reliable.

I Would perfer to have them as a powerpoint due to the amount of times per day they are edited. Is it possible to get a patch or instructions to patch Office 2013 to work? Or as an easy alternative would installing Office 2010 fix it?

You just need to ensure you apply the correct registry keys.

I think we provide patches up to 2010 but the linked Microsoft article
explains it for other versions of Office
