Text not filing region

I have just installed the windows client and am playing with getting a layout specified. - video and photo regions make sense but every time I add a scrolling text or ticker region the text doesn't fill the region, even with the fit to region check box ticked.

THe region should be the total width of the layout with scrolling text running from left to right. A single line of text. It looks fine on the layout window but the client only displays the text about a third of the screen instead of the whole region.

Client PC is Windows 7 Pro (x64) flat install. Xbio server is ubuntu 12.10 server LTS.

Hi, thanks for the response. The version of IE was only 8 so have upgraded to 9. After a restart this made no difference.

I then applied the reg fix as described, this also made no difference (PC was restarted again).

If I look at the design layout in IE (9 or 11) it appears fine but when I preview the layout the issues occurs. Text is on less than half the screen.

Linked a 1.6.0 bug with fit text that might be causing your issue.
