Client not updating/downloading content

I updated my client to 1.6, and it's not downloading any changes from the 1.6 server. At first, we tried moving a box in our layout, and it didn't update. Then, I uninstalled the client and reinstalled, re-registered/licensed device and that didn't fix it. I also deleted the entire content folder and hoped that it would re-create and download everything. It downloads a "backgrounds" folder, but no content is downloaded at all. When launching the client, it sits at our loading screen. I've rebooted, and tried everything - with no luck.

Anyone else having this issue with 1.6?

:edit: - I just tried with a fresh client install on another machine, and I'm experiencing the same issues. Not downloading anything. I have a schedule set as well with a valid layout.

I tried making a new layout and scheduling it. It says that the layout is not valid and shouldn't be scheduled. I go into the layout, try to delete regions, and it doesn't let me do anything. Same issue it seems like the issue posted yesterday regarding not being able to edit timeline. I can't delete regions, do region options, or permissions. Those 3 dont do anything.

I would love to keep 1.6, but if this initial release isn't ready for prime time, then I may go back to 1.4.2.

Have you completely deleted the files and extracted fresh? Overwriting the
old install won't work and isn't supported

I've uninstalled the client, deleted the folder within program files, and done a fresh install from the MSI on the website.

Not the client. The CMS.

In the original thread you'd overwritten your original cms installation
leaving old files behind and causing issues.

Please ensure you upgrade following the upgrade notes exactly.

I installed the CMS on our server for the first time today (version 1.6.4). It seems I'm having the same problem. I created a display and scheduled it to play to an android device, but it will only play the splash screen and won't download/play the content I set up. Any new advice?
