Slow response when editing layout

I have a user who, when editing a layout has a significant delay when typing the characters for them then to appear on screen. It hangs and catches up with itself. Even when resizing the editor it hangs and doesn't respond. Yet If I anyone else logs in it is fine. We have a generic user account and the xibo admin, that's it.
We have tried various pcs and even got him to log in with the admin account and still the same thing. Yet it's fine with everyone else. Is it some kind of caching issue that I'm just missing? I don't even think it's xibo in retrospect but I am stumped!

Maybe that user has something in his user profile that is pegging the CPU of every machine he logs into? Sounds very suspicious - maybe some malware or something?

I'd check for other effects in the environment, like raised CPU, to see if it is isolated to Xibo.
