Unable to connect to IP server

Hello! I have a connection problem between the client and the server.

Now I will explain what i have done.

I installed Xibo using apache and MySql with XAMPP; I can connect the display with the server using localhost(yep, I have the client and the server in the same machine) but I can't connect using the IP since I will have the client in another location.

In the client options i put "http://IP" but the error its always the same "Unable to connect"

Do I need to open any port or something or something?

I suspect your windows firewall might be blocking the external port. You might want to have a look in your firewall settings.

I'm sorry but my firewall is disabled.

Sorry, but i dont know what more to suggest - perhaps you could try asking on the XAMPP forum?
