Is there a way to move data directory in another location in Linux pyclient?

The question is as follows: how one can configure the pyclient in order to store cached files not here: /opt/xibo/pyclient/clinet/python/data but in different location?

Yes. It's in the configuration file site.cfg

All the available options are documented in defaults.cfg
