Can we use tablets for display?

Can tablets be used as displays? If yes, then what is the minimum configuration requirement?

We have not tried or tested either of the open source clients on a tablet O/S. I don't see why the windows client wouldn't run on Windows 8 on a tablet - but you would have to try it.

The android client (commercial addition) does run on tablets - you'd have to look at the website for more information on that as it cannot be discussed here.

Can we use displays other than computers like HD TV? Is there a list of tested clients I can refer?

Yes you can use HD TV's - Xibo outputs in the same way as a standard application, there are no special requirements. Sorry, we don't have a list of tested hardware.
