Scaling webpage it works and it doesn't, what makes it tick?

Asked by TomV

Hello all,

Xibo 1.4.2

I am going a bit crazy here, on 1 desktop scaling a webpage works and 2 others not.
I can only find that scaling is only supported on python, while I use Win7 64bit systems.
Now I can't find the implementation on .net or I have one magic system :D
Checked on all systems:
-adobe flash
-IEX
-.net
-windows updates
-Java
-Visual C++

I can't find the thing that makes it work, please help me out.

Did you check to make sure the resolution output is the same on players?

If you trying to zoom in to a part of the page you might look at using the embeded HTML using the CSS.

Resolution is the same, got Xibo running for 1 year, there's no 2nd sysadmin who could have changed anything.
I created a html page with a HTC flip clock ( hxxp://www.radoslavdimov.com/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-digiclock/ )
Using in Xibo no "embedding", but webpage with scale 90% else it is too big.

Sytems win7 64bit
1. server + client + apache = scale not working
2. client = scale not working
3. client = scale working

Try the above registry page on your windows clients to force them to use a more update IE rendering process.
FAQ #2246: “HTML5 in the Windows .net Client”.
