adjust the media to the layouts dimension

I can't adjust the media to the demensions of layout same if i give the resolution to the layout
When it displayed on the client there is black zones on the left an right of displayed media.

There are several size you can select from in the background tab in the design tab.
9:16
2:3
10:16
3:4
3:2
4:3
16:10

Next you need to determen the output resolution of your player the most basic and common is 640x 480. you select the 4:3. Meaning for every 4 pic across it goes up 3 pic. What type display and what type of output is your player?

i determine the resolution for region and media (almost media are pictures) i displayed on wide screen display (with windows7 client), and the same problem, i think it have relation with scaling .

Check to make sure all your displays out resolution are set the the same like 1600X900. in the windows software.
