stylesheet help needed for dataset

Is there a way to display my 3 column data set a row at a time differently than like a spreadsheet. What we have is a date, a title and a description in each row and we'd like to see each column on a line in the display. and then have each dataset row display one at a time like a list of images that change after a certain amount of time.
like:

mm/dd/yy
Event Title
This event is fun......
....................................
....................................
....................................

I've done this with images, but I'm looking for an easier way to update the display with each month's events.
