powerpoint pop-up cannot be turned off

Asked by Gerard Tappenden

I've installed Xibo client 1.5.2, and set the registry entries for Powerpoint. However each time it starts, it asks if I want to open the powerpoint file, but without the tick box to tell it to never ask me again
The machine runs Windows 7 SP1, Office 2010 and IE11. Is there a registry entry I can tweak? either to stop it asking, or to make the tick box appear

OK, I've cracked it:
you need to do a manual change to the registry.
in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classess\Powerpoint.Show.12
the key EditFlags should have 00 00 01 00 (Create the key if it does not exist)
you might need to do the same to \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Powerpoint.Slide.12 but it doesn't seem to be as vital
