Can't install xibo client on raspberry pi

Asked by Jos Coeckelbergs

Hello,

I have a raspberry pi with raspbian on it, a HDTV and a xibo server, i already have screens running on the windows .NET client and on the linux python client. I'm trying to install the client on my raspberry pi just like I did on the linux but after doing

sudo bash xibo-1.4.1-ubuntu.all-pyclient.sh

It doens't do anything. It just gives me a line for a new command.

Did anyone have the same problem or knows this problem?

Thanks in advance

The project doesn't support RPi and has no plans to do so at present.

There are unofficial images out there, but the performance is terrible as
there is no hardware acceleration.

Hey Alex,

First of all nice hearing from you again, you've been a great help on my previous problem.

I know it will be perform terrible, but unfortunatly i'm an intern and my mentor wants it working on a RPi. But thanks anyway, i'm gonna try to convince him it really doesn't work and we'd better use an Ubuntu client or Windows .NET client.

Thanks ;-)
