Ubuntu 12.04 1.6.0 Client not showing local time

Asked by Casey Riley

Hey guys,

Working on a project where I would like to use all linux for clients and servers. However on the clients I'm running this page

https://resources.planningcenteronline.com/kiosks/eJxj4ahms2LLz2QSZgQACsABvA%7C%7C792b15915155beab3d2d973416083e96a9369018?theme=dark

and it is pulling UTC time not PST, I've checked the BIOS clock and System time everything checks out, opening that page in a browser shows the right time, only when it is loaded in xibo does it not load correctly, having an issue with this same page on windows clients they won't load the clock on the page or autoscroll the page in xibo but in IE it will load normally.

TIA loving Xibo so far.

I've just run your code on my machine here and it's showing local time here correctly, but I'm in GMT so effectively I am in UTC anyway.

I'm not sure how to work around that I'm afraid, there's certainly nothing in the code I can tweak to make it work.

Can you help with this problem?
