update powerpoint

I have a powerpoint scheduled to run everyday which is on a share which multiple people change during the day. I was wondering is there a way to schedule it to run the changes everyday when xibo loads up?

The PowerPoint can't be on a share. It needs to be uploaded in to the Xibo CMS and then it gets sent to the clients.

It's possible with 1.6.0 when it's released to automate uploading content to the library. There's a basic guide on the website:

ok so If I was to share the CMS directory it still wouldn't work? Assuming I follow the scripting?

If you write the file directly in to the server library, the clients will
reject the file.

You need to upload the modified file via the CMS - either via the API or
manually via the web interface. There is no other supported route.

ok thanks, I will wait for version 1.6 which hopefully will have support for this
