Xibo client on windows 8

Does the latest client run on Windows 8 pc's? Unfortunately my old Windows XP machine just crashed (harddisk failure) and I want to buy a new Windows 8 desktop.

It is for Me. You will want to install the newest K-pak for the media player. delay xibo startup. install the classic shell app.

When will the Windows client by default (without installing additional software) support Windows 8.X ?
