Xibo client driven data formats

Asked by Prawin

i know that xibo server supports .txt , .jpg,.bmp,.html and other formats.
my doubt here is, how does the server sends data to client.
will it be converted into specific format before sending it to client, if that is the case what is that format?
what data format does the xibo client supports?
please let me know ,if anyone knows answer for this?

Data is sent to the client as a combination of xlf (Xibo layout format
which is basically XML), the original media files you upload, and HTML.

Have a look in the developer section of the manual for more info

Some media items are effectively html documents. Eg text, tickers, dataset
