Hi
We plan to use Xibo for a digital signage project.
We'll need to count how many time each media is display.
As my english is not so good, I'm not sure that python client can do it.
Can you explain what are :
  media counter ?
  layout stats ?
  media stats ?

Counter is a numerical counter that counts up or down when you press a
button. Generally used to manage queues of people.

Layout stats show when a layout starts and finished.

Media stats show when a particular media item started and finished being
shown

I have a last question
If I understand well last ubuntu python client release had been out in Feb
13 while windows version out in Nov. Does that means that Xibo is going to
abandon ubuntu python client ?

No, but we do need somebody to help getting the underlying libraries up to
scratch before it can really move forward
