Individual expiry time / date for elements in a layout

Would it be possible to implement an option to set individual start and expiry dates / times for elements in a layout?
Our company use Xibo for internal information to employees, and most of this is in a "common" layout with a mix of static and current information. It would be great for us to be able to avoid having to manually delete elements in a layout when it's no longer relevant.
