Web Page is not displaying

Asked by Mahesh Kulkarni

Hello,

We've installed Xibo server 1.4.2 and client on windows m/c. I've added a web page http://in.yahoo.com to a region of a layout. The web page does not display. I get a error message as
" Web page can not be displayed in a Frame"
I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. Could any one of you please help.

Thx and regards,
Mahesh

Did you embed the webpage in in Iframe by any chance?

Yahoo disables embedding in iframe.
Refused to display 'http://in.yahoo.com/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'SAMEORIGIN'.

If you just used direct link to yahoo, then it should display.
Can you provide more info, a screenshot maybe?

Hi Sai,

Thanks for your response. I've not embedded the webpage in iframe. I followed the steps below to add web page to the region

1) Click on Edit Timeline
2) Select Web page
3) Enter Link(http://in.yahoo.com/?p=us), duration (600), offset Top(10), Offset Left(10) and Scale percentage(100)

After I click OK I see the test as below on the region.
=============
This content cannot be displayed in a frame
To help protect the security of information you enter into this website, the publisher of this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.
What you can try:
Open this content in a new window
=============
When I start the Xibo client I see the same message displayed as above

The Yahoo.com opened once on Xibo client but it is not consistent. We want to publish the local web pages and this issue is stopping us from moving further.

Thx and regards,
Mahesh
