Xibo Client 1.4.2 Not Registering, Times-Out

I am having s problem with a Windows (XP) client registering with the server which is running on a Win 7 bit system.
The client times-out giving a HTTP Status 503: Service Unavailable.

However, when i use the same server information on a Virtual Box running the same XP and client it registers without a problem.

Also, the client with the problem can browse to the server using the [Display Admin] button.

The Client with the problem has IE 8 installed.

I've uninstalled the Xibo client and re-installed and the problem still remains.

Any ideas?

So after the splash screen you get the 503? or is it an area in the layout that gets the 503? is the area in the the layout full screen?

This occurred when I was trying to register the client from the options screen. I enter the correct server information and can use the [Display Admin] button to access the server from the client

However, when I clicked [Register] that is when the 503 error occurs.

Is this clearer?

in the results window you get the 503 error? if you open the browser and go to the Register link do you get a black page?

Hi Michael,

That behaviour is very odd - would it be possible to turn on logging (increase log level to audit) and submit a log file for us to look at?
