single spacing and vertical centering of text

is it possible to single space text in the text objects? what's the easiest way to get them to be vertically centered? this also applies to the RSS items.

still pretty fiddely...but I guess i'll have to deal with it.

there's nothing for vertical centering or anything like that? basically trying to get things to look right in a horizontal ticker situation.

also, the "fit to region" option does not seem to have the results one would expect. it basically does the exact opposite of what it claims. makes the text entirely too large for the region.

Shift+Enter is the standard for a carriage return in HTML editors.

No there's nothing for vertical centering.
