Rss Feeds shown in reverse order

Asked by Anuj Pant

Hi,

I am trying to figure out something and have run out of ideas.

When I add the feed from xibo http://xibo.org.uk/feed/, all items are shown in correct order (with the latest one at top).

When I add the bbc feed from here http://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/world/rss.xml, or any other feed, the items are displayed in reverse order (with the oldest one first)

Both feeds have the same settings

Duration: 60
update: 260
Number of Items: 5
from start of feed

To try and get recent items to display, I changed the bbc one to from the end of feed (thinking that the feed was simply reversed somehow).

However changing this shows only one item (that latest one) and not the latest five items.

I am running windows client 1.4.1 and windows server 1.4

I've created a bug for the end of feed setting - I haven't had time to debug it yet.

As for the ordering of the feed, we do not do anything to effect that, they are always shown in the order returned by the feed itself. I guess that our feed returns the latest first (this is the usual way) and that the other feeds do it differently for some reason.

Can you help with this problem?
