libavg binary for different python client version

Asked by waertf

In Ubuntu 10.04 and client 1.2.2, said that use
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/47790312/pyclient-1.1.0a22-bin-10.04.tar.gz

But I want to use the function in libavg 1.6.0 as "setWindowFrame"
Is it safe to use link
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/77596603/libavg-berkelium-vdpau-1.6.0.tar.gz
instead of above link?

Not with 1.2.2. Only with the client versions that were released for that binary.

Is there any potential problem if I used libavg 1.7.1 version and other component compiled with client ver. 1.2.2?

libavg 1.7.1 version and other component dependency or libavg 1.6.0

You need to use the versions released with the client

If you want libavg 1.7.1 then you need the latest 1.4 series client.

If you want anything else, you're on your own with that.
