smoother transition between images

Hi,
Is it able to do a fade in and out between images, so the transitions between slides/scenes to be more smooth?
I saw that this has been asked before. Is it solved now. I am using 1,4,1 windows

There hasn't been any work done on this in 1.4 but the code we have in the 1.5 release supports transitions in the Xibo CMS and the Ubuntu Python Client.

The windows client cannot support them without a rewrite (we are more focused on bringing the Python client to windows).
