Client connection issue

I'm not totally new at Xibo, having got one install working just perfectly - so I'm confused as to why I can't get my current attempt to work.

I've set up a web server with the required dependencies on a spare machine. This appears to working just fine - I can set up templates etc - no problem.

However whenever I try to connect a client machine. I run the Client options program, set the server to http://10.0.49.29/xibo (which is correct!).

I've checked my server key and that's just fine.

Yet when I click to register a display I get a - "The request failed with an empty response." message.

I'm sure this means I've missed something sill out - but can anyone give me a hint as to what?

In the client options program there is a button to go to the "Display Admin", when you click that button it will open your default browser pointed at where it thinks the Xibo install is.... does it open successfully?

Yep that works perfectly - opens up the Admin screen.

As suspected - was something silly. Two servers on the network both called LAMP! Now sorted and working perfectly. Thanks all.

Hi there Guys,

got the same problem,

set up the proxy in IE9
set up login/pass/domain in Client

display admin button works

cannot get to register client.

Got above 20 clients registered

xibo 1.4.2

got any help?
