Wich hardware do i need? Welke hardware heb ik nodig ?

I would like to install a Xibo signage in our school.

Our school is covered bij a two server networks (pupils and teachers) for all PC's connected to the network.
We would try to install 4 displays to display general information on several locations on the school domain.

To get started we defenetly need some hardware.

Can someone tell me wich hardware we need:

- Do i need to install a different server to get started, or can i use the server that is already in use ?

- Wich PC our intelligent card do i need to serve as client. Wich are the system requirements ?
--> Is it possible to drive xibo on a 'Raspberry Pi' ?

- What type of LCD do i have to prefer ?

Hi,

A little searching on theses pages could get all your answers...

- We don't know what type of server is on the school poperties. But as you can see on the system requirements for the server part.. some free diskspace and a webserver which is able to run PHP (version information see the requirements) and mysql is needed,

- Also see the system requirements. Most important for easy installation.. Ubuntu 10.04 or Windows with .net as host system. For the hardware.. any desktop system is a possible client system.
No Xibo client will not (yet) run on a Raspberry Pi. With google the first hit could answer that question.. And why not.. some of the required packages will not run on Raspberry Pi.

- Any type of LCD that can connected to the client system ;)
