Scheduling and clock

Asked by Fredrik Persson

Hi! I have set up up Xibo and most things works fine. However I have some issues with scheduling. I have set one layout for scheduling. However Xibo keeps playing other layouts as well. Even as they are not in the standard layout for this screen. Status and layout is marked as red suddenly. They were scheduled before.

So basicly there are two problems. The screen does not update scheduling. And the time seems strange. Does it use the system time or local time I see when I press the time in Xibo. The bios time is correct now but stills tells me wrong.

Systeminformation

Local time: 11:04 CEST
Systemtime: 09:04 GMT
Lokal date: 2012-09-04 11:04:16
Systemdate: 2012-09-04 09:04:16

Maybe it was solved. I did some mistakes on the scheduling. However I still do not understand wht the system time differs.

The system time differing is not something to worry about - Xibo internally stores everything in Unix Time stamps (system time), but it is converter either end.

The actual problem sounds like Xibo was having trouble connecting to your server (the red light you spoke of means that the schedule or layouts in the schedule had changed somehow, but the client had not connected to pickup the changes.

Can you help with this problem?
